In our small family kennel in Finland we breed Swedish
Vallhunds. Our family is composed of five two-legged,
Iris and Jari and our children Arttu, Otto ja Essi, and two
four-legged,
Nakke and Topsy.
We started breeding in 1995, and a
total of 32 puppies have left
our kennel to charm new people. Or in fact 30, because Nakke and Topsy
stayed
with us!
Swedish Vallhund is an ancient Swedish breed which used to herd
cattle and serve as a watchdog. Nowadays they usually live as
family dogs which can be trained to almost everything.
They are happy if they can accompany their families in
every smallest task. More about the breed you can find for
example on the website of Special Club
for Swedish Vallhund.
